50 years of Hargrave Chambers...
The Wollongong Bar was established by Jack Geddes.
He was closely followed by Allen Hogan, Joe Phelan, Michael Lynch and Stuart Hill.
Joe Phelan was appointed to the District Court Bench.
There were two sets of Chambers in Wollongong, namely Regency Court and Grenville Chambers.
Members of those two Chambers (Stuart Hill, Stephen Longhurst, William Dalley Roger Spain and Andrew Haesler of Grenville Chambers and Nicholas Canosa and Terrence McGill of Regency Court Chambers) joined forces and established Hargrave Chambers.
